Richard Selo, M.D.
Dr. Richard Selo is a urologic specialist whose expertise is in the diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer, urinary incontinence in women, benign prostatic hyperplasic (BPH), kidney stone disease, and urologic oncology. His focus is on using the least invasive treatment possible to treat these conditions, because he believes in preserving quality of life for his patients by reducing side effects.

Dr. Selo is a graduate of Creighton University and the University of Nebraska School of Medicine. Upon graduation, Dr. Selo pursued residence at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. He maintains membership with the American Medical Association and the American Urological Association. Dr. Selo is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a diplomat of the American Board of Urology.

Dr. Richard Selo joined the clinical staff in 1987. He is a graduate of Creighton University, The University of Nebraska School of Medicine. He completed his urology residency at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. He is an active member of the American Urological Association, American Medical Association, a diplomat of the American Board of Urology, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Selo has special expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of female urinary incontinence; the evaluation and treatment of benign prostate enlargement (BPH), focusing on minimally invasive treatments; the evaluation and treatment of kidney stone disease and the evaluation and treatment of prostate cancer.
